Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) is a research field that integrates methods of social sciences to the design of technologies. Specifically, it offers a critical framework for understanding how digital tools can support real-world professional practice and drive effective group work. The talk covers the fundamentals of CSCW and illustrates how it has informed the design of adaptable, user-friendly technologies that meet the complex demands of today’s dynamic workplaces.
