Understanding unstructured text is a priority for many real life applications, that requires capturing the right features to maximize the desired inference. This talk will focus on exploiting background knowledge in the form of ontologies to annotate open text with concepts and relations.
Specifically, the problem will be introduced, some related work and relative challenges explored, and possible research solutions illustrated
